Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson sounds pretty confident that he will have his way with the Indianapolis Colts secondary this week.
"For the guarantee, you've got to zoom in close, because I'm about to get myself in trouble," said Johnson in his unique manner. "I guarantee -- I'm serious -- I guarantee that I will not be stopped on Sunday. For real. I won't be covered. I will do everything I can to make sure we win this game. That's my guarantee."
Although he did not guarantee a win this Sunday, you can assume the statement means the same thing almost. Two years ago, Johnson predicted that the Bengals would be the first team to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 9-0 at that time.
"There's no need for me to guarantee a victory. No point," Johnson said. "We're 7-2. We are one of the best teams in the NFL right now. So there's no need for me to go out on a limb like that."
Johnson made a promise to the Cleveland Browns secondary last year that they would need pepto bismal after he was through with them. Johnson failed to make true on his promise, having a horrible game.
The Colts will try to improve to 10-0, being the first team to do so in years.
