The Miami Dolphins signed safety Chris Crocker to a one-year deal worth $1.15 million. Crocker is expected to compete for a starting job for a team that went 1-15 last season.
Crocker started 14 games with the Atlanta Falcons last season and has started in 52 games during his five years in the league. Half of that game with the Falcons, while the other half came with the Cleveland Browns, the team that originally drafted him.
In related news, the Dolphins were awarded sixth-round and seventh-round compensatory draft picks by the league.
