The Dallas Cowboys officially lost out on DeAngelo Hall when the Oakland Raiders acquired him a few days ago. Now, they have their sights set on possibly acquiring another talented, but troubled, cornerback.
The Cowboys have had preliminary discussions with Tennessee Titans about cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, reports the Dallas Morning News. Reports indicate that the Cowboys would give up a late-round draft pick to acquire Jones, which sounds like an enticing deal.
The Titans are not in a rush to make a decision, but due to his problems with the organization over the past few years, the Titans would like to inevitably get something in return for him if he is to never play for them again.
"If Tennessee chooses not to have him on their roster next year, it's in their best interest to trade him," said agent Manny Arora, "because if not, they would get no compensation."
We'll have more details as they come along.
