The New England Patriots will have to battle through injuries for yet another year. This time, the injury bug was dealt to Rodney Harrison. Harrison was known as a leader on the team's defensive unit along with Tedy Bruschi. Bruschi is not playing this season after suffering a stroke in the offseason.

Harrison suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. There may be even furthur damage past the ACL. Harrison was injured during the first quarter of the Steelers game while trying to make a tackle.

Harrison has had nearly 100 tackles the past few years, but his crushing blows and prescence on the field could always be felt by opposing offenses. Guss Scott may replace Harrison at the position.
