With the 18th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected quarterback Joe Flacco. The Ravens probably could've taken Flacco at No. 26, so the only reason trading up makes sense is if they really feared that another team was set to trade up. I can't say I like this as a value pick since Flacco is probably a mid-second rounder, but the Ravens ultimately got their guy.
