For those of you looking to play PFCritics Pick'em again, fear not: the contest will return this season for its fourth consecutive season, complete with the same enticing prizes! Remember, the game is completely free to play.


This year, I decided to write my own football pool application using PHP, MySQL, and Ajax. I already have the meat and potatoes portion of the pool complete; now I'm simply working on fine-tuning it, and making certain areas more efficient. If you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see in the football pool, send me an email and I'll review your idea.

I hope to have a beta of the pool running in early July to ensure that the amount of bugs will be limited during the actual season. I will also be opening an option for people to purchase the script to use on their own website for a year, along with the option of having it customized to fit your layout specifically.
