In our Week 13 Power Rankings, the New York Giants have fallen out of the top ten for the first time in weeks after another collapse, this time to the Tennessee Titans. The Titans boosted themselves near the bottom of the chart as a result of the victory. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos have fallen back again as the Kansas City Chiefs are quickly approaching them. The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped back down into the 20's after all but ending their playoff hopes, but the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are making their push into the top half of the rankings. These rankings were made on November 30th, 2006, right before Week 13. These rankings take into account the momentum teams had from last week, as well as their expectations heading into the season.

Rank Team Comment
(1) - With a performance like that, it looks like Joseph Addai saved the Colts a large amount of money.
(2) - How many fourth quarter rallies can Tomlinson come up with? Not only is he running them in, he's throwing them as well.
(5) - The excitement shown by Tom Brady after juking Brian Urlacher can get anyone fired up.
(6) - I've never seen the Pittsburgh Steelers dominated that bad - major props to the Ravens.
(3) - The Bears are still in great shape for their division, but Dallas will want to make a run at the No. 1 seed.
(8) - If Tony Romo keeps this up, he probably would've been on pace to challenge Manning's touchdown record if he started the season at QB.
(4) - In going with Cutler as the new quarterback, it's do or die time for the falling Broncos.
(9) - Now, their only worry in the division remains to be the Carolina Panthers.
(13) - The Chiefs have successfully made the transition to all-around offense to pure running of the football.
(12) - Don't get too excited about the Bengals defense yet: you don't improve that much in one week.
(7) - Despite the unusual struggles they're having, another division win puts them in great shape.
(10) - The Panthers have Keyshawn Johnson, so why are their still offensive issues?
(11) - After yet another "upset", the Jaguars have fallen out of the sixth playoff seed spot for the time being.
(15) - Things didn't look good to start the game for Hasselbeck. By the end of the game though, he was back in his groove.
(16) - The Jets could be one of those teams hoping for several scenarios to occur come Week 17.
(20) - The Dolphins are still a long shot, but with the way their defense is playing, going undefeated is not out of the question.
(22) - Bulger's last second touchdown pass saved any possible playoff hopes for the Rams.
(17) - Their fight on the road is definitely admirable, but I still don't see them contending this season any longer.
(18) - Jeff Garcia wasn't the problem against the Colts: the run defense was awful.
(19) - The Falcons can't win a game, and Michael Vick is hearing it from the critics more than ever.
(25) - The Bills made the right choice in their QB battle from the preseason in Losman.
(14) - It's unfortunate that the Steelers couldn't even muster a point in their "do-or-die" game.
(21) - The interceptions are still there, but Favre could have this team contending next season.
(26) - The Redskins deserve a lot of credit for rallying against a team like Carolina under their circumstances.
(28) - Vince Young's first legendary story: 24-point comeback victory in the 4th quarter alone.
(23) - Unfortunately, they may only have one win if it weren't for them facing Jacksonville twice.
(24) - The Bengals have been the only team to dominate the Browns this season, and they've done it twice.
(29) - A win over the Cardinals isn't too flattering, especially when they almost gave it up.
(27) - Tony Romo had his way with what used to be a dominating Buccaneers defense.
(30) - The Lions dissed Joey Harrington, only for him to come in and beat them.
(31) - The "almost upset collapse losses" are quickly adding up for the Raiders.
(32) - Matt Leinart is getting some nice experience in his first season, regardless of the team's record.
