Tell Chris your opinion.

In our Week 6 Power Rankings, two teams made drastic improvements in their rankings - the St. Louis Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams have continued to win, and have finally made their mark towards the top ten of our rankings. Ironically, right after making their improvement, both teams will be facing their toughest opponents of the season.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to fall as Ben Roethlisberger continues to struggle. And, after the Baltimore Ravens first loss of the season, how far did they drop? These rankings were made on October 15th, 2006, right before Week 6. These rankings take into account the momentum teams had from last week, as well as their expectations heading into the season.

Rank Team Comment
(1) - The Colts suffered a scare against the Titans, making their run defense a major concern.
(2) - The only thing keeping the Bears from being No. 1 are the perfect Colts.
(3) - The Patriots are playing great football without Deion Branch or David Givens.
(4) - Coming off the bye, the Bengals will be seeking revenge with a big day for Chad Johnson.
(8) - The offense still seems dormant, but the defense won't allow anyone to score.
(6) - The Chargers picked up a big win over the Steelers, as Phillip Rivers appeared to mature.
(5) - The Ravens suffered their first loss after a familiar site - lack of an offense.
(9) - A 41-0 blowout will quickly make you forget about a couple of disappointing losses.
(7) - The Seahawks need to beat the Rams this week or they'll be chasing a wildcard spot.
(16) - McNabb has to be thrilled inside to see Terrell Owens frustrated on a division rival.
(18) - The Rams have been the surprise of football this year after their offense is finally healthy.
(12) - Eli Manning rebounded nicely, but Jeremy Shockey is still due for a big game.
(13) - DeShaun Foster is providing the running stability that made them successful at the end of last season.
(10) - Does Bill Parcells regret ridding of Keyshawn Johnson just to get Terrell Owens?
(14) - The Saints can make their mark on the NFC this week with a win over the Eagles.
(11) - The Champions keep falling as Ben Roethlisberger still hasn't thrown a touchdown yet.
(15) - The Falcons are the best team to be rated so low. They'll need a couple of division wins to improve.
(19) - The Chiefs are playing well with Damon Huard as the starter, but Trent Green still deserves the job.
(17) - An inconsistent offense is what will always haunt this team.
(20) - The Vikings are hanging around in the mix, but it may not matter who finishes second in the NFC North.
(21) - The Jets were truly beaten for the first time this season. It's time to see how Mangini responds.
(22) - Like the Jets, the Bills were truly beaten for the first time this season.
(23) - The Browns offense is suffering, but their defense and special teams are keeping them in games.
(24) - Matt Leinart gave the Cardinals some early hope, but they can't go anywhere with that defense.
(25) - Brett Favre continues to keep his teams in the game, but they're ending up on the losing end.
(28) - The 49ers are quietly off to a nice start to the season.
(26) - The Texans' only win was over the Dolphins, but David Carr has looked good against everyone.
(27) - Joey Harrington at least tried to move the offense, but a few turnovers proved costly.
(30) - Bruce Gradkowski made his first start a near memorable one.
(29) - The Lions had their first win in sight - and blew it again.
(31) - The Titans nearly pulled the biggest upset in a couple of years, but Young needs to throw more.
(32) - Who will be traded, Randy Moss or Jerry Porter?
