Tell Chris your opinion.

Heading into Week 7, the Bengals found themselves coming off the bye week and ready to improve upon a loss against the Patriots. Instead, they were upset by the Bengals, and are falling in the latest edition of our power rankings. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints are now ranked No. 9 after an impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles, while the St. Louis Rams blew a chance to take charge and move ahead of the Seattle Seahawks. These rankings were made on October 21st, 2006, right before Week 7. These rankings take into account the momentum teams had from last week, as well as their expectations heading into the season.

Rank Team Comment
(1) - The Colts have been forced to comeback several times this season, leading some to rank the Bears number one. Now, the Bears and Colts are even in comeback attempts.
(2) - Even with a loss to Arizona, the Bears may not have moved below the third spot. However, people aren't talking about the sudden possible exposure of some offensive woes for the Bears.
(3) - The Patriots will be looking to establish control of their division with a win over the Bills this week.
(5) - You can't complain about Denver's defense. However, there offense is preventing them from possible being the best ranked team in the league.
(6) - It's fun to watch Tomlinson pile on touchdowns if you have him on your fantasy team.
(4) - The Bengals are another loss away from falling out of the top ten in these rankings. The injuries have killed them this year, but they shouldn't be struggling this much.
(8) - The Jaguars will look to continue their momentum from two weeks ago after a bye.
(9) - If the Seahawks had not rallied on the road to defeat the Rams, they'd be out of the top ten.
(15) - The Saints have finally crept into the top tier of teams, and rightfully so. This team is fun to watch.
(12) - Speaking of teams that are fun to watch, that's what the Giants are becoming again. Welcome back, Shockey.
(13) - If the Panthers continue to go undefeated with Steve Smith, doesn't that clearly show that he's an MVP?
(10) - After a tough loss to the Saints, the Eagles suddenly find themselves within range of the Cowboys and Giants again.
(14) - Terrell Owens is alive and well in Dallas, but too many people still want Tony Romo. Not this year.
(7) - We got a glimpse of what life for Baltimore would be with Kyle Boller again. I didn't like it.
(11) - The Rams will be a playoff contender down the stretch, but they blew a golden chance against Seattle.
(16) - Now that's the Ben Roethlisberger we're used to seeing.
(17) - The Falcons can't afford to let teams come back at home after dominating half the game.
(21) - The Jets have a chance to be an above .500 team after Week 7. Who saw that coming?
(20) - The Vikings are very similar to how they were at the end of last year still - close, but not enough.
(18) - Damon Huard has done his job as a backup, but we're looking forward to the return of Trent Green soon.
(19) - It's never good to see your team lose to a winless team. The Redskins are the definition of underachieving.
(22) - After a couple of strong efforts to begin the season, things haven't been as bright lately.
(23) - Coming off the bye, the Browns' offensive coordinator was the lone rumored person in trouble to keep his job.
(24) - The Cardinals have played so well the past two weeks, but that collapse to the Bears...Wow.
(25) - Brett Favre had to have imagined a better record when deciding to return for another season.
(26) - Even when the 49ers lose pretty badly, you still like the potential seen in the team.
(29) - Chris Simms may not have a job waiting for him is he does recover this season.
(27) - How frustrating is it for Houston that they'll finish low in their division yet again?
(28) - Joey Harrington has shown some positive signs for Miami's offense, but I'd still give my vote to Daunte Culpepper when he's ready.
(30) - The Lions have been close to winning several games and deserve credit for finally pulling one out.
(31) - After two straight games, the Titans clearly made the right choice in Vince Young.
(32) - Look how many chances the Broncos gave the Raiders to come back. The Raiders didn't take advantage once.
