Tell Chris your opinion.

In our Week 8 Power Rankings, the top of the board remained the same as usual, despite some of you disagreeing with the fact that the Colts are ranked No. 1 instead of the Patriots.

Top Riser: Buffalo Bills (No.23 to No. 27)
Top Faller: Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 7 to No. 12) and Baltimore Ravens (No. 19 to No. 14)

Week 8 Power Rankings
Rank Last Wk. +/-Team Comment
1 1 - - Give the assist to David Garrard's injury, but the Colts dominated the Jaguars nonetheless. Unlike most power rankings, I'm giving the Colts the fair shot to defend their No. 1 ranking still in two weeks, rather than having to "beat" the Patriots to prove something.
2 2 - - Fantasy football fans were probably thrilled to see Tom Brady return in the fourth quarter against Miami to throw his sixth touchdown of the day. It certainly gave me a more comfortable lead.
3 3 - - While the Patriots and Colts have continued their domination over in the AFC, the Cowboys, despite winning two of their past three, haven't been able to trade punches of the same strength.
4 6 +2 - When the Giants were originally announced as a participant in the London game, I thought it'd be a joke after all the mistakes this team made last year. Now, it's the Giants who are forcing other teams into mistakes and proving to be one of the best teams in the league.
5 5 - - DeShawn Wynn, the Packers' seventh-round draft choice in April, remains the team's starting running back. It's funny how in certain situations, no matter where you are drafted, starting opportunities can arise quite soon.
6 3 -3
- The Steelers have faith in Ben Roethlisberger, but sometimes mistakes do happen. You can blame them for not running the ball often enough, but the Broncos also deserve credit for playing a solid game.
7 8 +1 - The Chargers still have a lot of work to do before they can feel comfortable in the AFC West again: the Kansas City Chiefs are still ahead of them, and Herman Edwards' club holds the tiebreaker.
8 11 +3
- Picking up a win with Kerry Collins under center while Vince Young needed a week off could be the type of defining moment that earns Tennessee a wildcard spot over Jacksonville.
9 10 +1 - The Redskins need to do a better job at putting a game away. A week after failing to execute against the Packers, they nearly allowed the one-armed Kurt Warner to rally from behind.
10 9 -1 - I've never seen such high efficiency throwing the ball from a quarterback in one game result in so few points.
11 12 +1 - While people outside of Carolina want the nostalgic feeling of seeing Vinny Testaverde play again, the Panthers are busy thinking who will give them the best chance at winning. When you weight your options, I'd still take the "old man" over David Carr.
12 7 -5
- Quinn Gray as the Jaguars starting quarterback could spell disaster. If Jacksonville is wise, they will limit, and I mean really limit Gray's throws on gameday, and seeing where the running game and their defense gets them.
13 15 +2 - Blame the offensive line, or blame Shaun Alexander. Is it a coincidence though that Alexander really began to struggle after he suffered a broken left wrist?
14 17 +3
- Hey! A running game? That's not the Detroit Lions team we all grew up and loved watching at the start of the season...
15 13 -2 - You have to love the schedule if you're a Browns fan. Two weeks ago, the Browns played the winless Dolphins. Last week, they had a bye week. This Sunday, they take on the winless Rams.
16 19 +3
- With a 4-3 record, I'm getting that eerie feeling that we'll see the same Chiefs team make the postseason that was completely inept against the Indianapolis Colts. Further development of Dwayne Bowe could change that.
17 16 -1 - I'd be extremely frustrated as a Texans fan. After years of struggling, the team finally got off to a great season, only to have Andre Johnson basically miss the entire season. To make matters worse, Matt Schaub's lingering injuries are causing Sage Rosenfels to get some playing time.
18 18 - - Putting Tim Rattay in the game at the one-yard line seemed like a wise decision, because he could probably handle the ball better on a possible quarterback sneak. Running the two-point conversion with Anquan Boldin under center was a little over-thinking it.
19 14 -5
- The Ravens haven't played one team this season with a winning record, and their offense has still looked less than impressive. Just wait until they face San Diego, New England, and Indianapolis back-to-back-to-back later in the season.
20 20 - - A win is a win at this point for the Bears, but this team is still no where near the dominating NFC Championship team from a year ago.
21 24 +3
- Denver's offense finally intrigued me this season on Sunday Night, and it had a lot to do with slot receiver Brandon Stokley. The AFC West battle rages on.
22 21 -1 - As the losses and low-scoring games continue to add up for the Eagles, I continue getting the feeling that Donovan McNabb will not be on this team next season.
23 27 +4
- Under Trent Edwards, the Bills have compiled a 2-1 record, with the option of being 3-0 if they had held on to beat the Cowboys a few weeks ago.
24 22 -2 - Don't blame Adrian Peterson for not having a "big" game last week. He was only given 12 carries, as the Vikings decided they'd rather pass the ball more often for whatever reason.
25 26 +1 - Does it seem unusual that Chad Johnson hasn't caught a touchdown pass from Week 3 to Week 7? It did to me, until I looked at his stats from last year again, and saw that he also didn't score from Week 3 to Week 7. In fact, he also didn't score from Week 12 to Week 17. A surprise to some of you fantasy footballers perhaps?
26 28 +2 - Three wins in a row won't mean the Saints are a great team again, but it'll give the Saints confidence again. In a division with a poor Falcons team, a Testaverde-led Panthers team, and a Buccaneers team with some ground issues, there is still hope.
27 23 -4
- Daunte Culpepper is not getting the Raiders off to a fast start, and a lot of that has to do with the running game not producing as they did earlier in the season.
28 25 -3
- The 49ers basically admitted it: they fed Trent Dilfer to the wolves last week against the Giants last week, knowing that Alex Smith would start this week. All worth it for the paycheck, right Trent?
29 29 - - Just when the Falcons offense is looking strong under Byron Leftwich, the veteran suffers another injury. Back to Joey Harrington, which sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
30 30 - - So, Chad Pennington played pretty well, but the Jets lost. Does that mean he gets another extension on his starting role over Kellen Clemens?
31 32 +1 - Trust me, the Rams didn't do anything positive to move up one spot. It's only in the fact that Steven Jackson returns for the Rams...
32 31 -1 - ...while Ronnie Brown is out for the season for the Dolphins. Here's to hoping they put up a fight in London.
