Tell Chris your opinion.

In this week's edition of our power rankings, the New England Patriots stayed strong at the third spot, just behind the undefeated Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears. A shift could very well occur in those rankings next week, depending on which team is victorious in the Colts vs. Patriots matchup.

Both the Steelers and the Seahawks - the two teams that represented the AFC and NFC in the Super Bowl last year - continue to fall in the rankings. All the way near the bottom, the Raiders suddenly find themselves making a big push in the rankings by their standards after the way they started the season. These rankings were made on November 4th, 2006, right before Week 9. These rankings take into account the momentum teams had from last week, as well as their expectations heading into the season.

Rank Team Comment
(1) - If people don't think Peyton Manning is the clear MVP of the league so far, then they're nuts.
(2) - If the Bears really wanted to, they probably could have scored the most points in NFL history last week.
(3) - The Colts and Bears are the top two, but the Patriots have been dominating good teams.
(4) - Despite the Broncos' defense being exposed, the offense finally showed some signs of life.
(6) - When Tomlinson has a big day, the Chargers are bound to continue moving up.
(8) - After a rough start to the season, the Giants can't find a way to lose now.
(5) - The Bengals need to start creating more turnovers on defense to get back on the winning side.
(7) - For the first time this season, the Saints were truly beaten. The mistakes by Brees were inexcusable.
(14) - If Michael Vick can continue his shocking passing attack, he'll be a top QB in the NFL.
(9) - The Panthers can't continue with mediocrity with the Saints and Falcons ahead of them.
(10) - The past two weeks, McNabb has gone from a playmaker to a turnover machine.
(13) - I didn't agree with it, but at least for now, Romo rules in Dallas.
(11) - Starting David Garrard - sending a message, or is Leftwich truly injured still?
(15) - It was definitely surprising to see the Ravens put on a good offensive showing for once.
(16) - The Rams are failing to take a advantage of their division with Seattle's injuries.
(12) - With Alexander and Hasselbeck out, Wallace and Morris can't carry the load well enough.
(19) - Unlike the Seahawks, the Chiefs have survived rather well without a key offensive contributor.
(17) - They'll be in the running for a wildcard spot, but they simply do not have enough of an intimidation factor.
(18) - The only good news for the Steelers: they still have two games against the Ravens for a crack at the division.
(20) - The Jets finally lost a game against a team with a losing record, as the Browns made Pennington look awful.
(22) - I still believe: this is the type of team that will sneak into the playoffs this season.
(21) - The Redskins are falling fast, and not having Santana Moss doesn't help at all.
(23) - Bruce Gradkowski has been toned down as of late, but the Buccaneers are better than they started the year.
(26) - A change at offensive coordinator was the right move, as the defense continues to excel.
(24) - Pulling David Carr was not a bad move, as long as it was only meant to send a message.
(25) - Coming off a bye, the Bills will look to rebound from a rough couple of weeks.
(31) - Two weeks ago, I wouldn't have bet any money on the Raiders winning two in a row.
(27) - Blown out one week, the 49ers are bound to put up a fight the next.
(28) - The Lions need a strong effort from their defense coming off the bye week.
(29) - Out of no where, all of the former winless teams are building two game winning streaks.
(30) - That's not the case for the Dolphins, who need Daunte Culpepper back.
(32) - The bye week came at the lowest point of the season for the Buccaneers.
