The Chicago Bears finally have a receiving threat, something that have lacked for the past few years in their lackluster offense. One day after being released by the Carolina Panthers, Muhsin Muhammad signed with the Bears.
The Bears will give Muhammad a $12 million dollar signing bonus.
Rex Grossman, the Bears original starting quarterback last season, should be thrilled. His only good receiver as a Bear, Marty Booker, was traded to the Dolphins near the beginning of the season. Grossman then missed the rest of the season to injury.
Grossman should develop a good connection with Muhammad, who made the NFL Pro-Bowl this year.
