The Chicago Bears have released punt returned/wide receiver Bobby Wade because they felt he fumbled too much on special teams. Wade returned 33 punts this season for a 9.7 average.

The number of fumbled he had on special teams was ridiculous: 10, losing four of them. Wade also played wide receiver at times this year, catching 10 passes for 80 yards.

Wade was a fifth-round pick for the Bears in the 2003 draft. His best season came last year, when he caught 42 passes for 481 yards. His only career touchdown came on a punt return earlier this season.
