The Chicago Bears signed first-round draft choice
Greg Olsen to a five-year deal on Tuesday. Olsen was not only the first player from the first round of the draft to be signed, he was the first player to be signed from the first two rounds in the NFL. The 31st pick overall, Olsen hopes to improve a Bears offense that often haunted them last season, despite making the Super Bowl.
Olsen becomes another tight end to enter the NFL from Miami, leaving after his junior season. In three seasons, Olsen recorded 87 receptions for 1,215 yards and six touchdowns.
The Bears only have one draft pick left to sign, that being second-round defensive end
Dan Bazuin.
