The Buffalo Bills have signed quarterback Craig Nall to a three-year deal. Nall will compete for a backup position behind quarterbacks J.P. Losman and Kelly Holcomb, who will compete for the starting job in training camp.
Nall played for the Green Bay Packers last year. There is a chance that Nall will have the chance to be the team's number two quarterback, with whoever loses the starting quarterback competition falling to third on the depth chart or being released. Nall was the Packers third-stringer for the past four years.
Nall, who was originally a fifth-round draft pick in 2002, saw his most playing time in 2004 when he was 23-of-33 for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
