The Buffalo Bills have claimed quarterback Kliff Kingsbury off waivers. The move came after Bills quarterback Craig Ochs was injured in NFL Europe. Kingsbury was the New York Jets backup last year for the final 13 weeks of the season. He played in one game against the Denver Broncos, completing two passes for 17 yards.
Kingsbury played for the NFL Europe Cologne this spring. He was originally a sixth-round draft pick by the New England Patriots in 2003. He has also been on New Orleans and Denver's practice squads in the past. It'll be difficult for Kingsbury to make Buffalo's team, because J.P. Losman, Kelly Holcomb, and Craig Nall are already competing for the starting position.
