The Dallas Cowboys continue to add more depth to their team. The Cowboys signed wide receiver Peerless Price to a one-year deal and traded for linebacker Scott Fujita.
Price was released by the Atlanta Falcons after two disappointing seasons with the team. Price never lived up to his expectations that the Falcons had for him after he had done so well with the Bills. Now, Drew Bledsoe is reunited with Price. In 2002, Price had 94 catches for 1,254 yards.
Price will be the teams slot receiver to begin the season it seems. This will take pressure off of him, allowing him to hopefully return to his old form.
Fujita was the Kansas City Chiefs leading tackler for the past two seasons, but was no longer needed when the team drafted Derrick Johnson in the first round. The Chiefs will get a sixth-round draft pick in 2006 and a conditional draft pick in 2007.
