In a game that the New York Jets may actually have a chance to win, the team has named Brooks Bollinger the starting quarterback. Bollinger was knocked out of this past Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos after he suffered a concussion.
Jets' head coach Herman Edwards stated that Bollinger underwent several tests and still has a minor headache, but will be good to go this Sunday. Bollinger suffered the concussion in the first quarter against the Broncos, when he took a hard hit from Al Wilson.
Backup quarterback Vinny Testaverde sprained his right ankle against the Broncos in relief, but his status is probably for this week's game. If Testaverde isn't available, then third-stringer Kliff Kingsbury will be the backup quarterback.
