Although he's missed most of the preseason due to a high ankle sprain, Brandon Stokley is back to practicing with the Indianapolis Colts. Stokley hopes to be healthy enough to play Week 1 against the New York Giants, when Peyton Manning faces Eli Manning.
"I feel like I'm progressing. Thats the object, to keep progressing and see how it feels tomorrow," said Stokley. Hopefully, we can keep moving forward. My goal is to play in the Giants game. I'm not going to make any predictions whether I am or not, but thats my goal."
The Colts offense could be going to the pass a little more this year with the departure of running back Edgerrin James. Stokley should see some more production than he did last year, when he only recorded one touchdown. The season before, he had ten touchdowns.
