Cleveland Browns rookie WR Braylon Edwards will miss this Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears due to an infection in his elbow.
This comes as a surprise to everybody, since Edwards was not on the team's injury report all week. In addition, there were not any rumors of this injury until gameday. Edwards underwent treatment on Saturday, and should be ready to go next week.
Edwards had nine catches for 166 yards and one touchdown this year. Fourth wide receiver Frisman Jackson will replace Edwards as the slot receiver. Josh Cribbs, the team's fifth wide receiver/kick returner, will likely make his return today after being injured since Week 1.
