-
Philadelphia Eagles starting free safety Brian Dawkins has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster after safety Mike Brown dropped out with an injury.

"I hate to go because somebody has gone down with an injury, but being the first alternate, that happens," Dawkins said. "This is something that I work for each and every year and I never take it for granted. It's an honor."

This will be Dawkins fifth Pro Bowl appearance. He had 125 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and three interceptions this year.
