The Denver Broncos signed wide receiver Quincy Morgan to a one-year deal on Monday to add depth to their receiving core. Morgan was on the Super Bowl squad of the Steelers last year, and was in camp with the team the entire preseason this year. He was released on September 2nd, after catching nine passes for 150 yards last year. He did well as a kick returner for the Steelers, averaging 25.3 yards per return on 23 kickoffs.
Morgan was originally a second-round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2001. He has recorded 17 touchdowns during his career, which also involved a short stint with the Dallas Cowboys. To make room for Morgan, the Broncos waived wide receiver Charlie Adams.
