The Denver Broncos may not have been in good shape after all in terms of running backs. The team re-signed Quentin Griffin, who was cut on September 3rd. Griffin was a fourth-round pick in 2003 and had some success with the Broncos.

In the preseason, Griffin fell behind Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell, and Ron Dayne on the depth chart. Anderson and Bell have experienced injuries, forcing the Broncos to go after Griffin again.
