After being released by the Oakland Raiders, veteran wide receiver Tim Brown has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brown is also now under the coach of Jon Gruden, who coached him in Oakland a few years ago.

Tim Brown has a great chance to start for the Bucs. Keenan McCardell is holding out and Joe Jurevicius is out with an injury.

In his career, Brown has caught 14,734 yards for 99 touchdowns. His 100th will likely come as a Buccaneer after spending 16 seasons with the Raiders.

Last year, Brown had 52 catches for 567 yards and two touchdowns.
