The Cleveland Browns have added a veteran backup to the team in case Trent Dilfer goes down and the young guys aren't ready. The team signed veteran Doug Johnson, who played for the Tennessee Titans last season.
The Browns backups were Charlie Frye, the popular rookie from Akron, and Josh Harris, who spent last season on the practice squad. If Harris and Frye do well in the preseason, there's a good chance that Johnson will be cut.
