The Cleveland Browns can now focus on their offensive game plan as it will be during the season. Kellen WInslow Jr. ended his holdout by signing a six year deal worth up to $40 million if he reaches incentices. There is a $16.5 million signing bonus as well.
The Browns had traded up one spot with Detroit in the draft to select Winslow with the sixth overall pick. However, Winslows agent, the Postons, felt that Winslow was worth the value of a higher pick, and even refused the Browns initial offer.
Jeff Garcia had made a public interview urging Winslow to sign a deal earlier in the week. It is unknown whether Winslow will play in the preseason game on Saturday against the Titans since he has missed a lot of camp.
