The Cleveland Browns has had Phil Dawson on their team since they became an expansion team in 1999. That won't be changing any time soon. The Browns agreed to a five year deal with the kicker, who has become a popular player in Cleveland.
The only other player remaining on the Browns from the expansion season is starting cornerback Daylon McCutcheon.
Dawson is the franchine leader for the Browns in terms of field goal percentage, at 82 percent. He's made 108 of 132 field goals in his six-year career.
Last year, Dawson was 24 for 29 on field goal attempts and went 28 for 28 on extra points.
