The Cleveland Browns released veteran offensive guard
Joe Andruzzi on Friday, ending his two-year stay with the team after winning three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. Andruzzi started 27 games with the Browns.
After drafting offensive tackle
Joe Thomas with the third overall pick in the draft and signing Pro Bowl guard
Eric Steinbach in the offseason, it became clear that Andruzzi's playing time in Cleveland would likely go down, or come to an end. Andruzzi clearly had a decline in productivity last season, having to play through a knee injury.
