Cleveland, OH. (PFCritics) -- The Cleveland Browns signed sixth-round fullback Lawerence Vickers and seventh-round safety Justin Hamilton. Both players signed four-year deals, and are the first of ten draft picks to sign this year.
Vickers, at 6-foot, 245 pounds, will be competing with Corey McIntyre for the backup fullback spot, since Terrelle Smith should have the starting job locked up. Last year in college, Vickers carried the ball well, scoring nine touchdowns on the ground and two more as a receiver.
Hamilton, at 6-foot-3, 217 pounds, just switched to the safety position last year. He will try to win a job as a backup safety, but, like Vickers, he'll probably end up on the practice squad or on special teams for the most part.
