With the eigth pick in the NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected safety Donte Whitner of Ohio State University. This pick completely fooled almost every single person, as Whitner wasn't even expected to go in the first round before a few weeks ago. The Bills were originally interested in Winston Justice and Haloti Ngata, but Whitner came out of left field.

Whitner's stock has really risen over the past few weeks, but no one expected it to be this high. The Bills probably could have traded down and still have been able to select Whitner.
