A few days after signing free-agent receiver Andre' Davis, the Buffalo Bills decided to go ahead and re-sign the underachieving Josh Reed. Reed has been a starter off-and-on for the Bills the past two seasons, but has not been able to build a whole lot of chemistry with whoever is quarterbacking. Last year, he had 32 catches for 449 yards and two touchdowns. Reed was the Bills' second-round draft pick in 2002.
The Bills also re-signed special teams plauer Mario Haggan to a contract. Hagan, a seventh-round draft pick in 2003, had 25 tackles on special teams last year.
The team also tendered an offer to offensive lineman Reggie Wells, who was an unrestricted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals must decide if they want to match the Bills offer or lose him and gain a sixth-round draft pick out of compensation.
