Kelly Holcomb will not be back with the Cleveland Browns. Holcomb agreed on a four year deal with the Buffalo Bills, and will serve as the backup to quarterback J.P. Losman.
Although Holcomb will be the backup, he is in a good situation because he can tutor the inexperianced Losman. If Losman struggles, Holcomb can easily fill in during the season.
Holcomb has been known as being a great backup for the Browns the past few years, but seemed to struggle in his chances as the Browns starter. That could have been related to an injury however, as Holcomb did very well this past season in a few games starting for Cleveland. He won his last game as a Brown against the Houston Texans in the last game of the season.
