-
New York Jets running back Cedric Houston was involved in a car accident on Friday and sustained injuries. Houston was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center to be treated. Thankfully, Houston's injuries were not very serious, and he was released.

Houston was a passenger in a car that drove into a tree stump. Charges have not been filed against the driver yet. The Jets did not comment on Houston's status since he has not been evaluated by a team doctor. Houston saw some playing time at the end of last season after veteran running back Curtis Martin went down with an injury.
