The San Diego Chargers made two newsworthy final cuts by releasing wide receiver Kevin Dyson and safety Kwamie Lassiter.

The Chargers figured that Dyson wouldn't be one of their top wide receivers, and that he couldn't help their kicking game, thus his release.

Lassiter comes more as a surprise. He is a nine year veteran who started for the team last season. Lassiter will likely find several teams going after him.
