-
San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker Anthony Waters was charged after hitting a man who threw a rock at his car on the highway last week. Waters was traveling on the highway when a passenger in a vehicle in front of him pitched the rock at Waters' vehicle, breaking his windshield and resulting in $350 in damages. Waters was arrested on a simple assault and battery charge and released on $1,000 bail.

According to reports, Waters and another man struck Colby Sarvis, an 18-year old man, and threatened to kill him. Waters was a third-round pick by San Diego, and although this crime may not seem as serious as the other ones floating out there, it is another example of a poor trend among young players.
