The Chicago Bears have waived former Ohio State University quarterback Craig Krenzel. Krenzel was a fifth round draft choice in last years draft and had a 3-2 record for the team last year, including winning his first three games.

The move came as a surprise, seeing as the young rookie did not perform too badly last year. He thre for 718 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions. His season came to an end on Thanksgiving when he injured his ankle.
