-
Kansas City Chiefs starting cornerback Eric Warfield has been suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Back on September 20th, 2004, Warfield had a blood alcohal level of .189 percent, more than double the states legal limit. He spent 10 days in jail and months in house arrest for his actions.

To start the season, the Chiefs will have Patrick Surtain as one starting cornerback. On the other side could be Ashley Ambrose, recently signed instead of Ty Law.

Warfield has had four interceptions in each of his past four seasons with the Chiefs.
