The Kansas City Chiefs may have found their second starting cornerback. The Chiefs have signed cornerback Lenny Walls to a one-year deal worth $1.75 million, but may still have to compete for the other starting cornerback position. Patrick Surtain already has the left cornerback job locked up.
Walls, who played for the Denver Broncos last year, was placed on the injured reserve near midseason due to a groin injury. Walls will have to compete with Julian Battle, Benny Sapp, and Alphonso Hodge.
The main concern around Walls is his injuries the past few seasons. He has only been able to play in seven games over the past two seasons.
