The Kansas City Chiefs offense has been outstanding the past few years, but they've always been missing one simple thing: a serious threat at wide receiver.
They've had the lethal running backs in Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson. They've had the Pro Bowl tight end in Tony Gonzalez. They've had a solid quarterback in Trent Green. They've had the great offensive line to block for the passing and running games. Now, what would happen if you had Terrell Owens to the mix?
Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson has stated that he would be willing to offer Owens a one-year, incentive-filled deal once the Eagles officially cut him in March.
Although Peterson understands that it would be difficult to negotiate with Owens and his agent Drew Rosenhaus, he is simply putting the idea out there.
