-
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was arrested on gun charges after an incident in the street over the weekend, authorities reported. It is said that Henry pulled out a 9 mm pistol on a group of revelers, according to the police report.

An officer in the area aimed his gun at Henry and ordered him to drop his pistol. Henry reportedly froze, then moved toward a limo on the street and threw the gun inside the car. The officer then grabbed Henry, threw him to the ground, and took him into custody. It is believed that Henry was ready to fight with another group of people. On top of that, the gun appears to have been stolen.

Henry is being charged with felony counts of possesion of a concealed firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm, and aggravated assault with a firearm. He was released after posting $3,000 bail.

Bengals spokesman Jack Brennan said that the team had no immediate comment regarding the incident.

Henry has a very impressive rookie season for the Bengals. He had 31 catches for 422 yards and six touchdowns.
