The former number one pick in the 2001 draft for the Green Bay Packers has signed with the Cleveland Browns after being released a few days ago. Originally he was going to be traded from the Packers to the Colts, but Jamal Reynolds failed his physical, so the Packers just released him.

The Browns picked Reynolds up on waivers. Reynolds could be considered a bust, though he has battle through injuries. This could be the type of move where Cleveland finds a gem, or just another guy to backup.

He will have to compete for a backup role to start the season behind either Courtney Brown or Kenard Lang. The current backup competition is between Ebenezer Ekuban, Mark Word, and Corey Jackson.
