-
Indianapolis Colts cornerback Nick Harper's wife was arrested Saturday night on charges of cutting Harper with a knife. She will be held without bond on charges of battery with a deadly weapon.

Harper was taken to St. Vincent hospital and treated for the knee injury, but the injury is not life-threatening.

Harper is currently listed as questionable against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts can really use Harper, who is a starter on defense.

Harper's initial report was that he had an "accident."

"There was not an accident," said Hamilton County Sheriff Doug Carter. It is believed that Harper and his wife were involved in a fight.

During the 2005 season, Harper had three interceptions. He joined the Colts in 2001.
