The Dallas Cowboys re-signed wide receiver
Patrick Crayton on Thursday to return as the team's third receiver next season. Crayton, who was a restricted free agent, was offered a one-year, $1.3 million tender to stay with the team. Crayton will be behind
Terrell Owens and
Terry Glenn again next season, barring something happening on draft day.
Crayton played in every game for the Cowboys last season after being a seventh-round pick by the team in 2004. He recorded 36 catches for 516 yards and four touchdowns, all of which were career highs. He also returned 11 punts for 85 yards.
