The Dallas Cowboys have released veteran fullback Richie Anderson. The Cowboys drafted fullback Marion Barber in the draft, who will be the replacement for Anderson.

Anderson saw a lot of action for being a fullback in his two seasons as a Cowboy. He rushed for 552 yards and two touchdowns.

Anderson was able to get some playing time the past few years due to the leaving of Emmitt Smith and the inconsistency at the running back position.
