Cleveland, OH. (PFCritics) -- It's becoming more and more common in the NFL: if you want to win, you need a solid tight end. The Dallas Cowboys signed tight end Jason Witten to a seven-year, $29 million deal on Saturday. Witten, a two-time Pro Bowler, attained a $6 million signing bonus.
Two years ago, Witten caught 87 passes for 980 yards, slightly down from last year, where he recorded 66 catches for 757 yards. Witten was entering the final year of a four-year deal.
