The Dallas Cowboys have released WR Peerless Price after signing him earlier this season. Price only had six catches for 96 yards during the season with limited playing time.
Price was released by the Atlanta Falcons at the end of August after failing to produce after a successful start to his career as a Buffalo Bill.
It was somewhat of a surprise that Price did not see more playing time in Dallas, since his best days came when QB Drew Bledsoe was with him in Buffalo. However, with WRs Keyshawn Johnson and Terry Glenn starting, the opportunities for Price were limited.
Price's best year came in 2002 with Buffalo, when he caught 94 passes for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns. It is not clear as to whether or not someone else will sign Price this season.
