Shortly after being waived by the Tennessee Titans this past Monday, the Denver Broncos signed RB Damien Nash to a deal. To make room for Nash, the Broncos released RB Marty Johnson. Nash, a second-year running back that the Titans selected in fifth-round last year, played in three games as a rookie. Nash showed a lot of promise in college, but didn't really have a chance to play with the Titans. Now that the Titans have LenDale White, Chris Brown, and Travis Henry, there wasn't a need for Nash. In Denver, Nash is also coming into a crowded situation, with Tatum Bell and Ron Dayne fighting for playing time.
The Broncos also learned that WR Rashaun Woods failed his physical, therefore will not be a member of the Broncos. Denver signed him yesterday after the former-first rounder was waived by the San Diego Chargers.
