The Browns will be without punter Dave Zastudil against the Pittsburgh Steelers today due to a back injury suffered earlier in the week. After having a solid first year with the Browns last year, the team was looking forward to having Zastudil available for his ability to consistently down the ball inside the 20 yard like.
To compensate for Zastudil being out, the team had to sign veteran punter Paul Ernster. Ernster played in all 16 games with the Denver Broncos last season, averaging 36.6 yards per kick. To make room for Ernster, the team waived defensive back Jereme Perry.
