Besides collapsing to the Baltimore Ravens, the Tennessee Titans suffered a key injury during the game. Wide receiver David Givens was carted off the field during the fourth quarter after hurting his left knee. Givens was hurt when he tried to block on a play in which Travis Henry was running the football. Givens had missed the past four games with a broken left thumb.

The Ravens suffered an injury of their own, involving backup running back Musa Smith. Smith was strapped to a backboard after he was drilled in the head after a pass reception. Smith was up and walking later in the game though, but did not return to the game.
