The number of arrests just continue to add up for the players on the Cincinnati Bengals. Cornerback Deltha O'Neal was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday after he was stopped at a traffic checkpoint in Ohio. O'Neal's blood-alcohol level was 0.10, which is over the state's legal limit of 0.08, according to the State Highway Patrol. O'Neal was arrested at the scene and then released following a breath test.
O'Neal will appear in Clermont County Municipal Court on December 12th. O'Neal is the eighth player from the Bengals to be arrested this season. The previous arrest for a Bengals player came just a few days ago, when rookie wide receiver Reggie McNeal was charged with resisting arrest outside of a Houston nightclub. The Bengals should expect more out of all of their players, especially a seven-veteran like O'Neal.
The Bengals faced the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, a game that O'Neal should be able to play in.
